Building  Defects

I have a long held interest in the investigation of defects,  identifying their cause reporting on their significance and advising on suitable corrective action. A wide range of problems have been explored and hundreds of problems solved.

Most issues are dealt with at my initial inspection. Some matters may require further investigation perhaps with a builder in attendance to open up.

Give me a call to discuss your problem and I will advise you how I may help.

Here are some examples of problems investigated:
Dampness to walls; Flat roof leaks; Condensation and mould growth; Damage to roofs; Leaning chimneys; Rot in skirtings; Cracked roof tiles; Flooding to floor voids; Stained timbers; Parquet flooring debonding; Cracked floor tiling; Building movement.
